On desktop, the vertical navigation bar is pretty unique and it scrolls with a user. There is also a progress bar on scroll so a user can familiarise themselves with how far down the webpage they are. When clicked it launches a big takeover menu. We wanted to reflect Ricketts’ as being lead designers of their field, effortless and the added value that they bring to their projects and inject these qualities into the website design and build. We wanted to bring their great projects to the forefront and shine a spotlight on their amazing work through striking imagery and keeping textual information to a minimum to really just let the architectural visual work shine. The site is no longer clunky, difficult to use and is fully responsive.
